Finished-bore sprocket for 50-chain drives

The Tritan 50BS16H is a 16-tooth steel sprocket with a fixed 1 3/8 inch bore, keyway and two set screws. It is built for single-strand 5/8 inch pitch chain in power-transmission assemblies.

Sixteen teeth on a 3.52 inch outside diameter

The 3.204 inch pitch diameter and 16-tooth count suit moderate speed ratios on 50 chain. The one-sided hub projects .657 inch and measures 2 1/2 inch across, limiting use where longer through-bore length or larger hub diameter is required.

Keyway and set screws included for immediate

The 5/16 inch wide by 5/32 inch deep keyway and dual set screws lock the sprocket to the shaft without extra machining. Black-oxide finish adds corrosion resistance, and the transparent colour coding aids visual identification in stores.

Questions about this item

Will the 1 3/8 bore and 5/16 keyway match the shaft on my existing 50-chain drive?

The sprocket has a fixed 1 3/8 bore with a 5/16 wide by 5/32 deep keyway, so it fits shafts machined to those exact dimensions.

How do I confirm the 16-tooth sprocket is seated correctly after installation?

Verify the hub projection measures .657 in, the outside diameter is 3.52 in, and both set screws are tight against the keyway.

Does the box include the two set screws or must I source them separately?

The package includes the two set screws; no additional hardware is required for mounting.
