An 18-tooth steel sprocket for 50 chain with a 1 3/16 in bore, keyway and set screws included
The Tritan 50BS18H is a steel sprocket with an 18-tooth profile and a fixed 1 3/16 in bore that includes a 1/4 in wide by 1/8 in deep keyway plus two set screws. It suits maintenance teams and machinery builders who need a direct-drive component for single-strand 5/8 in pitch chain.
A black-oxide coating protects the 3.92 in outside diameter and 3.599 in pitch diameter surfaces during normal operation. The one-side hub measures 2 7/8 in across with a 0.657 in projection and a 1 in length through bore, keeping rotational mass low and installation straightforward.
The integrated keyway and dual set screws secure the sprocket to a matching 1 3/16 in shaft without additional clamping hardware. Builders requiring a different bore size, a double-strand hub or a detachable bushing will need a separate component.

Slide the sprocket over the shaft, align the 1/4 in wide by 1/8 in deep keyway with the shaft key, then tighten both included set screws against the key to prevent rotation.
Inspect the 18 teeth regularly for hooking or uneven wear; replace the sprocket when tooth profiles no longer mesh cleanly with the 5/8 in pitch chain.
The 3.92 in outside diameter and 1 in length through bore concentrate heat, so tooth-surface temperature becomes the limiting factor before the black-oxide finish degrades.
