Finished-bore steel sprocket with keyway and set screws for 50 chain, 20 teeth, 1 1/2 in bore
This finished-bore sprocket is built for single-strand 50 chain drives in industrial machinery. It suits maintenance teams and OEMs replacing worn sprockets on conveyors, packaging lines or agricultural equipment where a 1 1/2 inch shaft is standard.
The carbon-steel body carries a black oxide coating that resists corrosion in normal shop environments. Two set screws and a 3/8 by 3/16 inch keyway lock the hub securely to the shaft, preventing slip under load without requiring additional clamping hardware.
The 20-tooth profile matches 5/8 inch pitch chain exactly, giving a 3.995 inch pitch diameter and 4.32 inch outside diameter. A 3 inch hub diameter and 1 inch length through bore keep the assembly compact, while the .657 inch hub projection clears adjacent components on tight shafts.

Slide the sprocket onto the shaft, align the 3/8 inch wide by 3/16 inch deep keyway with the shaft key, then tighten both included set screws against the key and shaft flat; the step often missed is securing the second set screw.
Inspect the 20 teeth for hooking or excessive wear from the 50 chain pitch; replace the sprocket when tooth profiles become pointed or chain elongation exceeds allowable limits, and periodically re-check the two set screws for tightness.
The 1 inch length through bore and 3 inch hub diameter limit rigidity, so sustained heavy torque or high RPM can cause shaft deflection or hub stress before the steel teeth wear significantly.
