Precision Power-Transmission Sprocket

The Tritan 50BS24H is a finished-bore steel sprocket built for single-strand 50 chain. It serves maintenance teams and OEM builders who need a direct replacement on existing shafts.

1 1/8 in Bore with Keyway and Set Screws

The bore is fixed at 1 1/8 in with a 1/4 in wide by 1/8 in deep keyway plus two set screws. This exact fit determines whether the sprocket matches your shaft without rework.

Black-Oxide Steel Runs Clean

Black-oxide finish resists corrosion in normal industrial environments. Steel construction handles the load of 24-tooth engagement at 5/8 in pitch. No lubrication fittings or cooling provisions are included.

Questions about this item

What does the 24-tooth count mean for speed and torque on my machine?

With 24 teeth on a 50-chain pitch the sprocket gives a 4.788 in pitch diameter, so driven speed and torque are fixed by that ratio.

How does the 5/8 in chain pitch limit what chain I can run?

The 5/8 in pitch matches only ANSI 50 single-strand chain; any other pitch will not engage the teeth.

Will the 1 1/8 in bore with 1/4 in keyway and two set screws fit my shaft?

The fixed 1 1/8 in bore includes a 1/4 in wide by 1/8 in deep keyway plus two set screws for positive locking.
