Steel sprocket with 17 teeth for 60 chain, 1-1/2 inch bore with keyway and set screws included
The Tritan 60BS17H is a finished-bore steel sprocket built for single-strand 60 chain with a 17-tooth profile. Its 1-1/2 inch bore includes a 3/8 by 3/16 inch keyway and two set screws for a positive lock on the shaft. This piece suits maintenance crews and collectors who need a genuine OEM replacement or a preserved example of standard power-transmission hardware.
The sprocket works only with 3/4 inch pitch chain, so it cannot mate with larger or smaller pitch series. A 4.082 inch pitch diameter and 4.46 inch outside diameter fix the speed ratio and envelope, limiting centre-distance choices to those that match the 17-tooth geometry. Single-strand hubs also rule out multi-strand loads without a complete redesign of the drive layout.
Black-oxide finish on steel resists surface corrosion in oily or outdoor environments while the 3-1/4 inch hub diameter and 0.791 inch projection keep the assembly compact. Fixed-bore construction means no bushings to loosen or misalign, and the included set screws bite directly into the keyed shaft. Collectors gain an unaltered factory piece that shows original machining marks and coating.

The sprocket is cut for 60 chain size with a 3/4 inch pitch, so it will engage correctly with any standard 60 roller chain.
It defines the effective radius where the chain rollers sit, so the driven speed equals the shaft speed multiplied by the ratio of this pitch diameter to the driver sprocket pitch diameter.
It locks the sprocket to a 1-1/2 inch shaft using a standard 3/8 inch key, transmitting torque without relying on the two set screws alone.
