Product identity

This is a new Tritan 50SDS22H steel sprocket with 22 hardened teeth for ANSI 50 chain. It uses a quick-detachable SDS bushing and suits single-strand power-transmission drives.

Compatibility check

Verify that your drive uses 5/8 inch pitch chain and that the shaft diameter does not exceed 2 inches. Confirm the SDS bushing size matches the hub and that the 1.157 inch hub projection clears adjacent components.

Build integration

The 4.72 inch outside diameter and 3 3/16 inch hub diameter set the radial envelope. The hardened teeth and black-oxide finish resist wear in continuous operation. The quick-detachable hub allows sprocket changes without removing the shaft or bearings.

Questions about this item

Does the 22-tooth sprocket ship with an SDS bushing or must I buy it separately?

The sprocket is designed for an SDS quick-detachable bushing; the bushing itself is not included and must be purchased separately.

When should I choose the 22-tooth version over other tooth counts?

Select the 22-tooth model when your drive ratio calls for a 4.392 in pitch diameter on 5/8 in pitch chain.

What does the 4.72 in outside diameter mean once the sprocket is mounted on a shaft?

It sets the overall envelope to 4.72 in, so guards and clearances must allow at least that much radial space.
