Precision Angular Contact Bearing

The Tritan 5204 2RS/C3 PRX is a double-row angular contact ball bearing built for equipment that demands accurate axial and radial load handling. It suits maintenance engineers, machinery rebuilders and collectors who need a factory-new component with the 3204/5204 industry designation.

Sealed For Clean Operation

Double-sealed closures keep SRI 2 and Polyrex EM grease inside while excluding contaminants across a temperature range of -40 to 175 degrees C. The polyamide cage and alloy-steel rings run at up to 12,000 RPM with low friction and quiet rotation in normal service.

20 mm Bore And 47 mm Outside Diameter

Those two dimensions decide whether the bearing fits the shaft and housing you are servicing. If your application requires a different bore, width or row count, this part will not install correctly.

Questions about this item

How do I press the 20 mm bore onto the shaft without damaging the polyamide cage?

Use a sleeve that contacts only the inner ring; pressing on the outer ring or cage deforms the polyamide retainer and ruins the double-sealed closure.

When should I plan to replace the bearing given the SRI 2 and Polyrex EM grease fill?

Relubrication is not possible through the double seals; replace the unit when vibration or temperature rise indicates the grease life is exhausted.

At what point does the 12 000 RPM limit become the governing constraint under continuous load?

The 12 000 RPM rating is the maximum permissible speed; sustained operation at or above this value exceeds the design envelope for the alloy-steel rings and polyamide cage.
