Precision Bearing for Industrial Use

The Tritan 6005 ZZ/C3 PRX is a metric radial ball bearing built to industry number 6005. It has a 25 mm bore, 47 mm outside diameter and 12 mm outer ring width. Double metal shields protect the alloy steel races and AISI 52100 balls in oily or greasy environments.

Maintenance Teams and Machine Builders

This bearing suits technicians who need a standard ABEC 1 tolerance component with a dynamic radial load capacity of 2,260 lbf and Polyrex EM lubricant. It is not for applications requiring a retaining ring, higher precision grades or sealed closures.

Factory-Fitted Lubricant and Shielding

The bearing arrives pre-lubricated with Polyrex EM grease and fitted with double shields. This combination reduces the need for initial relubrication and helps keep contaminants out of the raceways during installation and early operation.

Questions about this item

What shaft diameter does the 25 mm bore fit?

The bore is 25 mm with a +0/-0.1 mm tolerance, so it fits a 25 mm shaft that meets standard metric h6 or h7 limits.

Will the 47 mm outside diameter and 12 mm width fit my existing 6005 housing?

Yes — the bearing follows the industry 6005 envelope of 47 mm OD and 12 mm width, so it drops into any standard 6005 seat.

How can I confirm the double shields are seated after installation?

The ZZ shields sit flush with the inner and outer ring faces; a visual check and smooth hand rotation with no shield contact confirm correct seating.
