Sprocket for 60 Chain and 1 1/4 in Bore

This finished-bore sprocket fits 60 chain pitch and a 1 1/4 in shaft. It is made of steel with a black oxide finish and has 18 teeth. The hub measures 3 1/2 in diameter with a 0.791 in projection. It suits power transmission builds needing this exact chain size and bore.

Keyway and Set Screws Included

A 1/4 in wide by 1/8 in deep keyway is machined into the bore. Two set screws are supplied to lock the hub onto the shaft. These features remove the need to source separate fastening hardware. The fixed bore type means the hub position cannot be adjusted after installation.

18 Teeth and 4.319 in Pitch Diameter

The 4.7 in outside diameter and 4.319 in pitch diameter define the drive ratio and chain engagement. Eighteen teeth provide standard contact for single-strand 60 chain. Builds requiring more teeth, a larger bore or a different chain pitch will need another sprocket.

Questions about this item

Will the 1/4 in keyway or the two set screws need periodic replacement?

The 1/4 in keyway and two set screws are integral to the sprocket and do not require scheduled replacement; inspect them during routine chain maintenance.

Which limit appears first when the 18-tooth sprocket runs continuously on 60 chain?

Chain elongation and tooth wear will become the limiting factor before the steel sprocket body reaches its fatigue limit.

How much heat or noise does the 4.7 in outside diameter generate during all-day operation?

The steel sprocket itself produces negligible heat and noise; any temperature rise or sound comes from chain engagement and bearing condition.
