Sprocket for 60 Chain

This finished-bore sprocket fits single-strand 60 chain and carries 18 teeth on a 1 7/16 inch bore. It serves maintenance crews and original-equipment builders who need a direct replacement for worn drive components.

Keyway and set screws included

A 3/8 inch wide by 3/16 inch deep keyway and two set screws lock the hub to the shaft without additional machining. The black-oxide finish adds corrosion resistance during storage and installation.

Steel hub with 3 1/2 inch diameter

The one-sided hub projects 0.791 inch and runs 1 1/4 inch through the bore, keeping the sprocket aligned on high-torque drives. Transparent packaging lets technicians verify tooth count and bore size before opening.

Questions about this item

How often should the set screws on this 18-tooth sprocket be checked and retightened?

Inspect the two set screws after the first few hours of operation and then at regular maintenance intervals to ensure they remain secure on the 1 7/16 in bore.

Which dimension determines whether the chain will engage correctly under continuous load?

The pitch diameter of 4.319 in must match the chain pitch to maintain proper engagement during sustained use.

How much heat can build up at the hub when this steel sprocket runs all day?

The black oxide finish on the 3 1/2 in hub helps dissipate heat, but actual temperature rise depends on load, speed and lubrication.
