Steel roller-chain sprocket with 25 teeth, 1 1/2 in bore, keyway and set screws for 3/4 in pitch chain
The Tritan 60BS25H is a finished-bore roller chain sprocket manufactured from steel with a black oxide finish. It suits maintenance teams and machinery builders who need a direct replacement for chain number 60 drives. The fixed bore measures 1 1/2 in and includes a 3/8 in keyway plus two set screws for secure shaft locking.
Steel construction and black oxide coating resist wear in normal industrial environments without additional lubrication systems. The 25-tooth profile engages single-strand 3/4 in pitch chain to transmit torque smoothly at standard speeds. No fan, radiator or active cooling is involved, so acoustic output and electrical draw are not applicable.
Two set screws and the machined keyway ship installed, eliminating the need for separate key stock or drilling during fitting. Hub projection of .791 in and hub diameter of 4 in determine the axial space required on the shaft. Buyers who need a different bore size, tooth count or chain pitch cannot use this sprocket without modification.

Slide the sprocket onto the shaft, align the 3/8 inch keyway with the shaft key, then tighten both included set screws securely; the step often missed is fully seating the key before locking the screws.
Inspect the 25 teeth for hooking or uneven wear and check the black oxide finish for corrosion; replace the sprocket when tooth profile no longer matches chain pitch 60 or when set screws can no longer hold the 1 1/2 inch bore.
The steel teeth reach their wear limit first, showing hooking or thinning at the 6.39 inch outside diameter before the 4 inch hub or .791 inch projection exhibits structural fatigue.
