Finished-bore steel sprocket with 18 teeth, 1 7/8 in bore, keyway and set screws for #80 chain
The Tritan 80BS18H is a finished-bore roller chain sprocket engineered for single-strand 80-series chain drives. Its 1 7/8 inch bore with a 1/2 inch keyway and two set screws provides a secure, positive lock onto driven shafts in industrial machinery.
Replacing a worn sprocket restores correct pitch engagement and reduces chain wear, while the factory-finished bore eliminates the time and cost of custom machining a plain bore. The jump is worth it when existing hubs show elongation or when keyway alignment has become unreliable.
The 1-inch pitch and 18-tooth geometry fix the pitch diameter at 5.759 inches and the outside diameter at 6.27 inches, defining the speed ratio and envelope. The hub projection of .925 inches and 4 1/4 inch hub diameter constrain available shaft length and adjacent component clearance.

The fixed bore is machined to 1 7/8 in with a 1/2 in keyway, so it mounts directly on a shaft of that exact diameter.
Tighten both set screws onto the key and shaft flats after aligning the keyway; skipping the second screw is the common error that lets the hub rotate.
Check the 18 teeth and 6.27 in outside diameter for wear whenever the chain is serviced; replace the sprocket once tooth profiles show hooking or the finish has worn through.
