A new 4-bolt radial ball flange bearing with a 1-1/2 inch cylindrical bore, alloy steel insert and cast iron housing
This four-bolt flange bearing uses a radial ball insert made from alloy steel with a cylindrical bore of 1-1/2 inches. It suits maintenance teams and machinery builders who need a fixed, double-sealed unit for shaft support in power-transmission applications.
The cast iron square housing holds NLGI #2 equivalent grease and operates from -40 to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. Double seals retain lubricant and exclude contaminants, giving quiet, low-friction running in normal industrial use.
Mounting holes sit on 4-inch centres and the overall height and length are 5 5/64 inches. The included HC208-24 insert is fixed, not expansion-type, so the unit suits applications where axial location is required and thermal growth is managed elsewhere.

Bolt the square housing to the frame using the four holes on a 4 in center-to-center pattern, then verify the shaft sits perpendicular to the mounting face before final torque so the 1 1/2 in bore runs true.
The factory-fill NLGI #2 equivalent grease is sealed for life; if the seals stay intact no re-lubrication is required, but inspect seals periodically and replace the entire insert if leakage or noise appears.
The 250 Degrees F maximum operating temperature is the first hard limit; sustained loads that push the housing toward that temperature will degrade the grease and seals before the alloy-steel balls reach fatigue.
