Troy 02-81601-001 MICR Toner Secure HY 12500 Pages Black

High-Yield MICR Cartridge for Check Printing

The Troy 02-81601-001 is a high-yield MICR toner cartridge designed for businesses that print cheques and financial vouchers. It delivers an approximate yield of 12500 pages and contains a hidden red security agent that appears if chemical alteration is attempted. This cartridge replaces the CE255X and is formulated to meet worldwide banking standards for secure document production.

Consistent Security Output Across Large Jobs

The toner maintains its magnetic character recognition quality and security properties throughout the full 12500-page rated life. The red security agent is distributed evenly within the formulation so that tamper evidence remains reliable from the first page to the last. This consistency supports batch processing of sensitive documents without degradation of the anti-fraud features.

Verify Printer Is MICR Modified Before Ordering

This cartridge only functions correctly in printers that have been factory modified or upgraded for MICR printing. Standard HP LaserJet P3015, M521 or M525 series devices without the modification will not produce valid MICR output. Buyers who need standard black toner for everyday documents should choose a non-MICR cartridge instead.
