True Color Toner 046C Cyan Cartridge

This aftermarket cyan toner cartridge replaces Canon OEM 046C and fits Colour imageCLASS MF731Cdw, MF733Cdw, MF735Cdw and LBP654Cdw printers. It is sold as a single pack in new condition for home or office users who need standard-yield colour output. The cartridge is manufactured by True Color Toner, a US-based supplier of compatible printing supplies.

Page Yield 2300 Pages at 5% Coverage

The decisive specification is the rated yield of 2300 pages measured at the industry-standard 5% coverage. Buyers who regularly print full-page graphics or heavy colour documents will reach the end of life sooner than the rated figure.

Drop-in Installation with Chip Recognition

The cartridge installs by opening the printer front cover, removing the old cyan unit and sliding the new one in until it clicks. The onboard chip is recognised automatically so the printer shows accurate toner levels. A common issue is forgetting to pull the sealing tape completely before insertion, which can cause streaks or a blank first page.

Questions about this item

How many pages will the 2300-page cyan cartridge actually print in my Canon ImageClass MF735Cdw?

The 2300-page yield follows the industry-standard 5% coverage test; typical office documents with heavier graphics or solid colour areas will return fewer pages, while text-only output may exceed the rating.

Does the 046C cartridge use the same chip interface as the original Canon 046 so the MF731Cdw recognises it immediately?

Yes, the compatible 046C includes the required chip so the printer identifies it as a genuine Canon supply and tracks toner levels normally.

Will the single-pack cyan toner fit the same slot as the OEM 046C in my LBP654Cdw without any adapter?

The cartridge is moulded to the exact dimensions of the Canon 046C and slides directly into the cyan slot of all listed ImageClass and LBP models.
