Two-pack black toner for Ricoh SP-5300 series

This two-pack of True Color Toner 407823 black cartridges is built as a direct replacement for the Ricoh Aficio SP-5300 series. Each cartridge delivers approximately 25000 pages at 5% coverage. The set suits offices that run high-volume monochrome printing on the listed Ricoh models and want a lower-cost alternative to OEM supplies.

Yield measured at 5% coverage on standard toner

The 25000-page figure applies only when printing at the industry-standard 5% page coverage using standard toner density. Pages heavy with graphics, solid fills or small text will reduce the actual yield. The cartridges are rated for standard capacity, not high-yield or extra-high-yield configurations, so plan replacement intervals around typical document workloads.

Confirm your printer model before ordering

Verify that your device is one of the compatible Ricoh models: SP5300DN, SP5310DN, MP 501SPF or MP601SPF. The cartridge chip and physical fit are matched to those machines; other Ricoh or third-party printers will not accept this cartridge. Check the OEM number 407823 on your current supply to ensure an exact match.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the two-pack or a single cartridge for my Ricoh SP5300DN?

The two-pack delivers 25000 pages total at 5% coverage, so you replace cartridges half as often and keep a spare on hand.

What does the 25000-page yield mean when I print full-page graphics on my MP 501SPF?

At the standard 5% coverage the yield is 25000 pages; heavy graphics raise coverage well above 5% and will reduce the actual page count proportionally.

Does the cartridge use a chip that works with the Ricoh SP5310DN firmware?

Yes, each cartridge includes a compatible chip that communicates with the SP5310DN and MP601SPF so the printer recognises toner levels correctly.
