What This Cartridge Replaces

This black toner cartridge replaces Ricoh OEM 888636 and fits the Aficio MP C2000, MP C2500 and MP C3000 models. It is a new, single-pack aftermarket unit rated for approximately 20000 pages at five percent coverage. Buyers who need colour cartridges or a different page yield will need separate items.

Print Consistency Over Long Runs

The cartridge is tested to SMTC and ISO quality standards to maintain dark tones and sharp images across the full rated yield. Output stays consistent from the first page through extended print jobs without the density drop-off sometimes seen in untested compatibles. Heavy-volume environments should plan for replacement at the rated limit.

Installation And Common Issues

The cartridge slides into the Ricoh Aficio slots with the same mechanical action as the original unit, requiring no tools or firmware steps. The most frequent issue is forgetting to remove the protective seal before insertion, which causes blank pages. A defective unit is covered by a one-year manufacturer defect guarantee.
