Two-Pack Jumbo Black Cartridge

This two-pack of jumbo-yield black toner cartridges replaces HP C4096A (96AJ) supplies. Each cartridge delivers approximately 7500 pages at five percent coverage. The set is built for LaserJet 2100 and 2200 series printers that require high-volume monochrome output.

Consistent Density Over Long Runs

The jumbo formulation maintains crisp, dark text and sharp graphics across the full rated yield without the fade that appears on standard cartridges near end of life. SMTC and ISO quality-assurance testing backs the sustained print density.

Drop-In Fit for Listed Models

Cartridges seat directly in LaserJet 2100, 2100M, 2100se, 2100TN, 2100xi, 2200, 2200D, 2200DN, 2200DT and 2200DTN printers with no hardware changes. Installers who skip the gentle rocking step before insertion sometimes see light streaks on the first few pages.

Questions about this item

Does the 96AJ jumbo cartridge draw more power or run hotter during long print runs?

The cartridge is a passive toner supply with no moving parts or electronics, so it adds no measurable heat or power draw to the HP LaserJet 2100 or 2200 series printers.

Must the printer already have a drum unit installed for the 96AJ cartridge to work?

The HP LaserJet 2100 and 2200 models use a combined toner-and-drum cartridge, so the 96AJ unit includes everything needed — no separate drum is required.

Will the 96AJ jumbo toner function correctly in an older LaserJet 2100 that has been in storage?

Yes, the cartridge replaces OEM C4096A and is fully compatible with the LaserJet 2100, 2100M, 2100se and 2100TN, delivering 7500 pages at 5 % coverage.
