Compatible 972A Black Cartridge Twin Pack

This twin pack contains two high-yield black toner cartridges built to replace the HP F6T80AN original. They are engineered for the PageWide Pro 352dw, 377dw, 452dn, 477dn, 477dw, 552dw and 577z printers. Offices and home users who need reliable monochrome output without paying OEM prices will find these cartridges fit directly into the listed machines. Buyers who require colour cartridges or a different page yield should look elsewhere.

Print Quality And Page Yield

Each cartridge delivers approximately 3500 pages at five percent coverage, providing crisp text and sharp images across the full rated life. The toner formulation is tested to SMTC and ISO quality standards to ensure consistent density from the first page to the last. No thermal or acoustic data applies to consumable toner cartridges, so noise and power draw are not relevant factors. Buyers who need a higher page count per cartridge will not be served by this model.

High Yield Replacement For HP F6T80AN

The decisive specification is the 3500-page high-yield rating matched to the HP F6T80AN part number, which confirms compatibility with the seven PageWide Pro models listed. This yield figure determines whether the pack meets your volume requirements. If your printer uses a different cartridge series or you need a standard-yield option, this pack is not the correct choice.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 972A cartridge in my PageWide Pro 477dw, and what step do people often miss?

Open the front access door, wait for the carriage to stop, press the old cartridge to release it, then slide the new 972A in until it clicks; the step many miss is removing the orange protective clip and tape before insertion.

What maintenance or replacement will this 2-pack need after the 3500-page yield is reached?

Once each cartridge reaches its approximate 3500-page yield at 5% coverage, you simply replace the empty cartridge with a new 972A; no separate drum or maintenance kit is required for these PageWide Pro models.

What print-quality limit appears first during long, continuous print runs?

Extended high-volume printing can cause the printhead to overheat, leading to temporary banding or light streaks until the printer pauses to cool; this thermal limit shows before the ink itself runs out.
