True Color Toner 981A 3-Pack

This three-pack contains high-yield cyan, magenta and yellow toner cartridges that replace HP J3M68A, J3M69A and J3M70A. Each cartridge delivers approximately 6000 pages at five percent coverage. The set is designed for HP PageWide Enterprise Color 556dn, 556xh, Color Flow MFP 586z, Color MFP 586dn and Color MFP 586f printers. It is supplied new and ready to install.

Suitable Users and Limitations

Offices and workgroups that need colour output on the listed PageWide Enterprise models will find a direct fit. Buyers who require black toner must purchase it separately because this pack contains only the three colour cartridges. Users of any other printer model should verify compatibility before ordering.

Deciding Specification: 6000-Page Yield

The rated yield of 6000 pages per cartridge at five percent coverage is the single figure that determines whether this pack matches your print volume. Compare that number to your monthly colour page count to decide if the high-yield capacity meets your needs.

Questions about this item

Does the 3-pack include all three colours or must I order cyan, magenta and yellow separately?

The pack contains one cartridge each of cyan, magenta and yellow — the three colours listed under J3M68A, J3M69A and J3M70A — so nothing extra is required.

How do I know which cartridge replaces J3M68A, which replaces J3M69A and which replaces J3M70A?

Each cartridge is labelled with its own J3M number; J3M68A, J3M69A and J3M70A correspond directly to the three colours in the box.

What does the 6000-page yield mean when I print full-colour documents on a PageWide Enterprise 556dn?

The 6000-page figure is measured at 5 % coverage per colour; heavy graphics or photos will reduce the actual page count.
