Right cartridge for the M680 series

This magenta toner cartridge is built for the HP Color LaserJet Enterprise MFP M680Z, M680F and M680DN as well as the Color LJ Enterprise Flow MFP M680z. It replaces OEM number CF323A and delivers a standard yield of 16500 pages at five percent coverage. Offices running high-volume colour workloads on these printers will find the correct fit and page count here.

Yield and colour match the spec

The single pack provides 16500 magenta pages measured at the industry-standard five percent coverage. That figure is the deciding spec: if your monthly colour output exceeds this yield you will replace the cartridge more often, and if you need a high-capacity version this is not the model to buy.

Drop-in install with standard care

The cartridge slides into the M680 series toner bay without tools or firmware steps. The most common issue is forgetting to remove the sealing tape or pulling it unevenly, which can cause streaks on the first few prints; a clean pull and a gentle rock side-to-side before insertion prevents that.

Questions about this item

What does the 16500-page yield mean for everyday printing?

The 16500-page figure is based on the industry-standard 5% coverage test; typical office documents with graphics or bold text use more toner, so actual yield will be lower.

Which HP printers does the CF323A cartridge fit?

This cartridge replaces the HP 653A CF323A and fits the Color LaserJet Enterprise MFP M680Z, M680F, M680DN and Color LJ Enterprise Flow MFP M680z.

What physical format does the cartridge use to install in the printer?

It is a standard single-pack toner cartridge designed to slide directly into the magenta slot of the compatible HP Enterprise MFP models listed.
