What This Drum Unit Replaces

The True Color Toner DR-420 is a new compatible drum unit that replaces Brother OEM number DR-420. It fits a wide range of Brother HL, MFC and DCP laser printers including the 2135, 2220, 2230, 2240, 2250, 2270, 2280, 7060, 7065, 7070, 7360, 7460 and 7860 series.

Yield And Coverage Limits

Rated at 12000 pages at the industry-standard 5% coverage, this standard-yield drum will reach its rated life sooner with graphics-heavy or dense text documents. Buyers who routinely print full-page photos or solid blocks of colour should expect a lower actual page count before the drum requires replacement.

Build And Daily Handling

The single-pack black unit is manufactured to ISO and SMTC quality-assurance benchmarks and carries a one-year manufacturer defect guarantee. TAA compliance means it meets US government procurement standards. No toner powder is included, so a separate toner cartridge must be installed alongside the drum for the printer to operate.
