Compatible Drum Unit for Brother Printers

This True Color Toner DR-720 two-pack replaces the original Brother drum unit in a wide range of HL, MFC and DCP laser printers. It is designed for offices and workgroups that need reliable mono output without paying OEM prices.

Standard Yield with 30 000 Page Rating

Each black drum unit is rated for approximately 30 000 pages at five percent coverage, matching the standard yield specification of the original component. The aftermarket build aims to deliver consistent density from the first page to the last.

Two Pack Black Drum Units

The box contains two black drum units, doubling the service interval for compatible Brother models. Buyers who need colour printing or a toner cartridge instead of a drum should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I install the DR-720 drum unit and what step is often missed?

Power on the printer, open the front cover, remove the toner and drum assembly, press the green lock lever to release the old drum, unpack the new DR-720, slide it in until it clicks, reinstall the assembly, then close the cover.

What maintenance or replacement will the DR-720 drum unit need later?

The drum unit is rated for approximately 30000 pages at 5% coverage; after that yield is reached, replace the entire DR-720 unit.

What limit appears first on the DR-720 drum unit during sustained printing?

The 30000-page rated life at 5% coverage is the primary limit; high-density or continuous jobs can reach that threshold sooner.
