True Color Toner DR-730 Drum Unit

The True Color Toner DR-730 is a new black drum unit rated for approximately 12000 pages at 5% coverage. It serves as a standard-yield replacement for the Brother DR-730 original part. The single-pack cartridge is built for compatible Brother laser printers in home and office environments.

Fits listed Brother HL, DCP and MFC models

This unit fits the HL-L2310D, HL-L2350DW, HL-L2370DW, HL-L2370DWXL, HL-L2390DW, HL-L2395DW, DCP-L2510D, DCP-2530DW, DCP-L2550DW, MFC-L2710DW, MFC-L2730DW, MFC-L2750DW and MFC-L2750DWXL. Printers outside this compatibility list will not accept the DR-730, so buyers with other models must choose a different drum.

12000-page yield at 5% coverage

The decisive specification is the rated yield of 12000 pages measured at the industry-standard 5% coverage. If your typical print volume or coverage demands a higher or lower capacity drum, this model will not match that requirement.

Questions about this item

How many pages can I expect from the 12000-page drum unit before print quality drops?

The drum is rated for approximately 12000 pages at five percent coverage. Real-world life varies with page content, duplex printing and environmental conditions, so heavy graphics or low humidity may reduce the usable count.

Does the DR-730 drum unit plug straight into my Brother HL-L2370DW without extra parts?

Yes, the DR-730 replaces the original Brother drum directly in every listed model including the HL-L2370DW, HL-L2370DWXL, MFC-L2750DW and MFC-L2750DWXL. No adapter or firmware update is required.

Will the single-pack DR-730 fit inside my DCP-L2550DW without forcing the cover?

The unit matches the OEM DR-730 form factor, so it slides into the drum slot of the DCP-L2550DW and all other compatible Brother printers exactly like the original. The front cover closes normally.
