Magenta Drum Unit 30000 Pages

The True Color Toner DR229CL is a new magenta drum unit built as a compatible replacement for Brother DR229CL originals. It suits home offices and businesses that run Brother HL-L3220CDW, L3280CDW, L3295CDW, L3300CDW, L8245CDW, MFC-L3720CDW, L3765CDW, L3780CDW or MFC-L8395CDW printers.

Capacity and Headroom 30000 Pages

Rated at 30000 pages using the standard 5% coverage measure, the unit handles everyday reports, invoices and contracts through long print runs. Heavy graphics or dense colour pages will consume the drum life faster than the quoted figure.

Single Pack Convenience

The box contains one magenta drum unit only; no toner powder, waste container or extra hardware is bundled. Installation follows the printer’s standard drum-replacement steps so the swap is quick and requires no additional tools.

Questions about this item

Will the DR229CL magenta drum unit work in my Brother HL-L3220CDW alongside the existing black and cyan drums?

How can I confirm the DR229CL drum is printing correctly after I install it?

Run a test page on the printer; the magenta output should show even density and no streaks across the 30000 page rated life at 5% coverage
