True Color Toner DR229CL Yellow Drum Unit

The True Color Toner DR229CL is a new yellow drum unit built as a premium compatible replacement for Brother DR229CL original equipment. It supports printers including HL-L3220CDW, L3280CDW, L3295CDW, L3300CDW, L8245CDW, MFC-L3720CDW, L3765CDW, L3780CDW, and MFC-L8395CDW for consistent output.

Fits listed Brother HL and MFC printers

This unit suits owners of the compatible Brother HL and MFC models who need a yellow drum replacement rated at 30000 pages at 5% coverage. Buyers with different printer models or those requiring a complete toner cartridge rather than a drum unit should look at other products.

30000-page yield at 5% coverage

The decisive specification is the approximate page yield of 30000 pages measured at 5% coverage on Letter or A4 media. This figure determines whether the drum unit matches the volume demands of the intended printing environment.

Questions about this item

Does the DR229CL yellow drum unit ship with a toner cartridge or must that be bought separately?

The box contains only the single yellow drum unit; a compatible toner cartridge is a separate purchase.

Should I choose the DR229CL yellow drum or a different colour drum for my Brother HL-L3220CDW?

Pick the yellow DR229CL drum when the printer indicates the yellow drum needs replacement; each colour has its own drum unit.

What does the 30000 page yield mean for everyday printing on an MFC-L3720CDW?

At the standard 5 % coverage it represents roughly 30000 yellow pages; heavy graphics or full-page photos will reduce the actual count.
