What It Is And Who It Fits

This new black toner cartridge from True Color Toner replaces HP 49A and Q5949A cartridges. It is built for LaserJet 1160, 1320, 1320N, 1320NW, 1320TN, 3390 and 3393 printers. The single pack suits home offices or small businesses that want crisp text without buying original HP supplies.

The Spec That Decides Fit

The cartridge delivers approximately 4000 pages at five percent coverage, which is sixty percent more yield than the standard 49A version. If your monthly volume sits well below that mark the extra capacity will last months; if you regularly exceed it you will replace cartridges more often than expected.

Install Ease And Common Pitfalls

The jumbo cartridge slides into the printer exactly like the original HP unit and requires no tools or firmware steps. The most frequent issue is forgetting to pull the sealing tape completely before closing the cover, which leaves a blank strip on the first few pages.

Questions about this item

How many pages can the 4000-page jumbo cartridge actually print in my LaserJet 1320?

The 4000-page rating follows the industry 5% coverage standard; real-world yield varies with graphics density, duplex use and page format.

Does this Q5949A cartridge use the same chip interface as the original HP 49AJ?

Yes, it is built to the Q5949A specification so the printer recognises it exactly like the OEM cartridge.

Will the jumbo cartridge fit inside my LaserJet 1160 without forcing the cover?

It is moulded to the Q5949A form factor and seats in the 1160, 1320, 3390 and 3393 series without modification.
