True Color Toner Q5949X 2 Pack

This two-pack of black jumbo toner cartridges replaces the HP Q5949X original. It fits HP LaserJet 1320, 1320N, 1320NW, 1320TN, 3390 and 3392 printers. Offices and home users who print regularly will value the high-yield capacity for consistent document output. Buyers who need colour printing or a different cartridge model should look elsewhere.

Thermal and power profile

Toner cartridges have no active cooling, fans or power draw of their own. They operate passively inside the printer, adding no audible noise or heat beyond the printer’s normal function. The printer’s existing thermal management handles the fusing process without extra load from the cartridge. There are no electrical specifications to consider for the cartridge itself.

Jumbo yield advantage

The jumbo design provides 33% more yield than the standard cartridge, delivering approximately 8000 pages at 5% coverage per cartridge. This reduces the frequency of replacements and lowers the cost per page for high-volume printing. Each cartridge undergoes quality assurance testing to SMTC and ISO standards and carries a one-year manufacturer defect guarantee. No additional software or accessories are bundled.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Q5949X jumbo cartridge in my LaserJet 1320 without triggering a toner-low error?

Open the front cover, pull the old cartridge straight out, rock the new jumbo unit gently to distribute toner, remove the sealing tape completely, then slide it in until it clicks; the printer will recognise the high-yield chip automatically.

What part will need replacement after the 8000 pages are printed?

The entire cartridge is a single unit; once the toner is exhausted you replace the whole Q5949X cartridge — there is no separate drum or developer to service.

At 5 % coverage, what is the first limit I will hit during a long print run?

The 8000-page yield at 5 % coverage is the limiting factor; heavier graphics or denser text will reduce the total pages before the cartridge runs empty.
