True Color Toner TCT-972X-Y Yellow Cartridge

This aftermarket toner cartridge replaces the HP 972X L0S04AN original. It is built for offices using HP PageWide Pro printers that need a high-yield yellow supply. The single pack delivers an approximate yield of 7000 pages at five percent coverage. Buyers seeking a lower-cost alternative to the OEM cartridge for compatible models will find this product suitable.

Upgrade from standard yield

If your printer currently uses a standard-capacity yellow cartridge, this high-yield version reduces replacement frequency. The jump is worth it when print volumes are high enough to use the full 7000-page rating before the toner ages. It also replaces an empty or fading original L0S04AN cartridge with a fresh, tested unit. Offices printing only a few pages per week may not consume the full yield within a practical timeframe.

Check printer model and slot availability

Verify that your device is one of the listed HP PageWide Pro models: 452dn, 477dn, 477dw, 552dw, 577dw or 577z. Confirm the yellow cartridge slot is empty or that the existing cartridge is the correct colour position. Ensure the printer firmware accepts compatible cartridges; some updates may restrict third-party supplies. This product is a single yellow cartridge only; cyan, magenta and black must be sourced separately.
