Questions about this item

How do I install the TCT-TN890 cartridge in my Brother HL-L6400DW and what step is often missed?

Turn on the printer, open the front cover, unlock the lever and remove the old cartridge. The step people miss is gently rocking the new cartridge side to side before inserting it to distribute toner evenly.

What part will need replacement after the TCT-TN890 reaches its 15000 page yield?

The cartridge itself is the consumable; once the 15000 pages at 5% coverage are printed, you replace the entire TCT-TN890 unit with a new one.

What print-quality limit appears first during long, high-volume runs with the TCT-TN890?

Toner depletion is the first limit; after approximately 15000 pages at 5% coverage the cartridge runs out and print density drops until it is replaced.
