True Color Toner TN225 5-pack

This five-pack contains one black cartridge rated for 2500 pages and three colour cartridges rated for 2200 pages each at five percent coverage. It is built for owners of compatible Brother colour laser printers who want a lower-cost alternative to original consumables.

Installing the cartridges

Turn the printer on, open the front cover and remove each old cartridge by pulling its handle. Shake the new cartridge gently side to side, peel off the protective seal and slide it into the matching colour slot until it clicks. A common mistake is forgetting to remove the seal, which blocks toner flow and causes blank or faded pages.

Yield limits of standard-capacity toner

The quoted page counts assume five percent page coverage, so documents with heavy graphics or solid fills will use toner faster and reduce the actual number of printed pages. Once a cartridge reaches its rated yield the printer will signal replacement, and print quality may degrade if printing continues beyond that point.
