Yellow high-yield toner for Brother printers

This cartridge replaces the Brother TN815Y and fits the HL-L9430CDN, HL-L9470CDN and MFC-L9670CDN models. It is a new, single-pack aftermarket unit built for offices that want consistent colour output without paying OEM prices. Buyers who need a multi-pack or a different colour should look elsewhere.

12000-page yield at five-percent coverage

The rated yield is 12000 pages measured at five-percent page coverage. Heavy graphics, solid fills or frequent short runs will use toner faster and reduce the actual page count. Environments that regularly exceed this coverage level will see the cartridge run out sooner.

Thermals noise and power draw in normal use

As a toner cartridge it has no moving parts, fans or power draw of its own; all heat and noise come from the printer engine. Normal printing adds negligible thermal load and no audible difference compared with the original cartridge.

Questions about this item

Will the TN815Y cartridge work in my HL-L9430CDN alongside the original colour cartridges I already have?

Yes, the TN815Y is a direct replacement for Brother TN815Y and fits the HL-L9430CDN, so it operates with the existing cyan, magenta and black cartridges in that printer.

How can I verify the TN815Y is printing correctly after I install it?

Print a test page or colour document; the yellow output should be crisp, clear and consistently dark at the rated 5 % coverage.

Does the single-pack box contain only the yellow toner or are other colours included?

The box contains one yellow TN815Y high-yield cartridge rated for 12000 pages; cyan, magenta and black cartridges are sold separately.
