Two TN850 cartridges and one DR820 drum

This pack contains two black TN850 toner cartridges and one DR820 drum unit built as compatible replacements for Brother printers. Each toner cartridge is rated for 8000 pages at 5% coverage while the drum unit is rated for 50000 pages. The set suits offices that want a complete refresh of both consumables in one purchase.

For Brother mono laser owners who need both parts

The bundle fits the DCP-L5500DN, HL-L5000D, HL-L6400DW, MFC-L5800DW, MFC-L6900DW and the other models listed in the compatibility list. It is not for colour printers, for machines that use a different toner or drum code, or for users who only need a single cartridge and prefer to buy the drum separately.

8000-page toner yield and 50000-page drum life

The page-yield figures at 5% coverage are the key numbers to check against your print volume. If your monthly output is far below or above these ratings, a different yield tier may match your cost-per-page target better.

Questions about this item

Which Brother printer models accept the TN850 toner and DR820 drum in this pack?

The pack fits Brother DCP-L5500DN, DCP-L5600DN, DCP-L5650DN, HL-L5000D, HL-L5100DN, HL-L5200DW, HL-L5200DWT, HL-L6200DW, HL-L6200DWT, HL-L6250DW, HL-L6300DW, HL-L6400DW, HL-L6400DWT, MFC-L5700DW, MFC-L5800DW, MFC-L5850DW, MFC-L5900DW, MFC-L6700DW, MFC-L6750DW, MFC-L6800DW and MFC-L6900DW.

Can I keep using an older DR820 drum while installing the new TN850 cartridges?

The DR820 drum in this pack is rated for 50000 pages; an older drum should be replaced once it reaches that limit to maintain print quality.

How do I confirm the TN850 cartridges are delivering the rated 8000 pages each?

Track the page counter on your Brother printer; each TN850 cartridge should yield approximately 8000 pages at 5% coverage before replacement is needed.
