Two-Pack Black Toner for Canon Printers

This two-pack contains compatible black toner cartridges that replace Canon 8489A001AA. Each cartridge delivers approximately 2500 pages at 5% coverage. The set suits home offices or small businesses that print regularly and want a spare on hand.

Replaces OEM Cartridge 8489A001AA

The cartridges replace the original Canon X25 toner used in ImageClass MF3110, MF3240, MF5550 and MF5770 models. The jump is worth it when your current toner runs low and you want a lower-cost alternative that still meets SMTC and ISO quality-assurance standards.

Fits Listed Canon ImageClass and LBP Models

Installation follows the same steps as the OEM cartridge, so no extra tools or firmware updates are needed. The two-pack frees you from ordering again mid-project and keeps a backup ready for the next replacement cycle.

Questions about this item

Will the True Color Toner X25 8489A001AA cartridge fit my Canon imageClass MF3240 without any adapter?

The cartridge is designed as a direct replacement for Canon 8489A001AA and fits the MF3240 plus the other listed imageClass and LBP models without adapters.

What is the correct way to install the cartridge and what step do users often miss?

Open the front cover, remove the old cartridge, gently shake the new cartridge side-to-side five or six times to distribute toner evenly, pull the sealing tape completely out, then insert the cartridge until it clicks.

When will I need to replace the drum unit while using these toner cartridges?

The drum unit is separate from the toner cartridge on these Canon models; replace the drum when print quality shows streaks or faded areas that do not improve after a new toner cartridge is installed.
