Tuff Stuff 12009 Adjustable Gate Spring

The Tuff Stuff 12009 is a 9 inch heavy coil spring designed for doors and gates that need reliable self-closing action. Its black zinc-plated steel construction resists corrosion in outdoor settings. Adjustable tension lets you set the closing speed to suit the specific opening. Mounting screws are included for immediate installation.

Replaces worn or missing gate springs

This spring upgrades installations where a door or gate currently fails to close on its own or slams shut without control. The adjustable tension is worth it when you need to fine-tune closing force for different wind conditions or user preferences. It is not suited for applications requiring a non-adjustable fixed-force closer or for openings that exceed the spring's designed length.
