Right-Hand Mortise Entry Lockset

This heavy-duty mortise lockset is built for commercial and residential entrance doors that require a right-hand configuration. It fits standard 1-3/4 inch metal or wood doors and uses a 2-1/2 inch backset with a 1 inch deadbolt throw. The lock operates with a cylinder on the exterior and a thumb turn on the interior, plus a rocker switch that locks or unlocks the outside lever.

Through-Bolted Screwless Lever Assembly

The lockset uses through-bolted plate assemblies on both sides of the door, eliminating exposed screws on the lever handles. Independent spring-loaded captivated spindles and lever support springs provide consistent lever return and durability through high-cycle use. The satin chrome 26D finish covers solid brass components including the 1-1/8 inch 5-pin cylinder, which is supplied with two keys and is easy to rekey.

2-1/2 Inch Backset and Heavy-Duty Rating

The 2-1/2 inch backset determines the distance from the door edge to the centre of the spindle and cylinder, so the door must be prepped to this exact dimension. This specification decides whether the lockset will align with existing bore holes or new door preparation. Buyers whose doors are cut for a different backset or who need a left-hand swing cannot use this model.
