Tuff Stuff TUF152 Brass Surface Bolt Rim Deadlock Door Lock

Brass Surface Bolt Rim Deadlock

This heavy-duty brass deadlock mounts on the door surface and secures the opening with a square deadbolt that extends one inch from the case. The jumbo die-cast cylinder operates by key on the outside and a thumb turn on the inside. A polished brass finish resists corrosion in exterior use.

Who This Suits and Who Should Look Elsewhere

Installers who need a surface-mounted rim deadlock with a thick, high bolt for wooden doors will find the dimensions match the specification. Buyers who require a mortise installation, a double-cylinder function or an electronic keypad should choose a different lock type.

Critical Specification — Bolt Throw and Profile

The square deadbolt measures one and one-sixteenth inches high by five-eighths inch thick and projects a full inch from the lock case, determining whether the strike and door frame can accommodate the hardware.
