Auto-Dimming LCD Lenses

The TUGAU smart glasses use liquid crystal film and an integrated light sensor to shift from clear to shaded in 0.01 seconds. The transition is automatic and keeps the view natural without manual adjustment. Polarised lenses reduce glare for comfortable outdoor vision.

Directional Audio & IP66 Build

Bluetooth 5.0 directional earphones handle music and calls while keeping ears open to surroundings. IP66 rating protects against dust, water and sweat during sports or rainy commutes. TR90 frame and textured hinge deliver a lightweight fit for extended wear. Buyers who need prescription lens inserts or active noise cancellation should look at other eyewear.

Magnetic Fast Charge & Battery Life

A 10-minute magnetic charge provides 2.5 hours of listening or 3 hours of calling, with up to 7 days of standby time. The 13-minute full charge cycle minimises downtime between uses. No companion app or proprietary software is mentioned, so functionality is limited to the onboard controls and standard Bluetooth pairing.

Questions about this item

Does the auto-dimming LCD need a paired phone to react to light changes?

No, the smart liquid crystal film and light sensor adjust the lenses automatically based on ambient brightness without a phone connection.

Will my existing Bluetooth 5.0 headphones interfere with the glasses' directional audio?

The glasses use their own Bluetooth 5.0 link for music and calls; they do not pair to other headphones, so normal multi-device Bluetooth use on your phone is unaffected.

How can I confirm the IP66 rating is holding up after a rainy run?

Check that the magnetic charge port is dry and debris-free, then verify audio and dimming still function — IP66 means dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets.
