Cast Iron Floor Lamp Counterweight

This TUKO cast iron loader adds five pounds of ballast to a floor lamp or large table lamp base. The 9 1/2 inch diameter disc sits inside the base to lower the centre of gravity and keep the fixture upright. A centred 1/4 IPS tapped hole accepts standard threaded pipe for straightforward assembly. It is designed and produced by B&P Lamp for new installations or repairs.

Stability Under Everyday Use

The solid cast iron construction resists shifting when the lamp is bumped or when a heavy shade is fitted. Weight is distributed evenly across the full diameter so the base does not wobble on uneven flooring. The 1 1/8 inch thickness allows the disc to sit flush inside most decorative bases without raising the lamp height. No moving parts mean the stabilising effect remains constant over time.

1/4 IPS Centre Thread Compatibility

The single specification that determines fit is the 1/4 IPS tapped centre hole. If your lamp uses a different pipe thread size or a non-threaded rod this counterweight will not mount without an adapter. Buyers with metric-threaded pipe or proprietary mounting systems should verify compatibility before purchase.
