TurboTorch PL-5T Self-Lighting Tip

The TurboTorch 0386-0823 is a self-lighting soldering tip designed for professional brazing and soldering tasks. It features a trigger-start ignition for immediate flame and a quick-connect fitting for fast tool changes. The tip produces a swirl flame pattern and is part of the Proline series. It is built for use with compatible TurboTorch equipment.

Suited for pros using MAP/Pro or propane

This tip suits technicians who need a self-igniting, quick-connect tip for silver brazing and soft soldering with MAP/Pro or propane fuel. It fits torch handles using part number H-4. Buyers without a compatible H-4 torch handle or those requiring a different tip size or connection type should look at other options.

5/8 inch tip with defined capacity limits

The 5/8 inch tip handles silver brazing up to 2 inches and soft soldering up to 6 inches with MAP/Pro gas. With propane, maximums drop to 1 1/4 inches for silver brazing and 2 1/2 inches for soft soldering. Work beyond these diameters exceeds the tip's rated capacity.
