Swirl Tip for Brazing and Soldering
The TurboTorch Swirl tip is a single-barrel accessory built for brazing and soft-solder work. It connects through a Quick Connect fitting and is ignited with an external lighter. The tip is made for plumbers and HVAC technicians who need a focused flame pattern on copper and brass fittings.
Upgrades from Standard Single-Flame Tips
This swirl pattern replaces a basic single-flame tip when a wider, more even heat wrap around the joint is required. The jump is worth it on larger diameter pipe where a standard flame leaves cold spots, or when brazing speed matters more than pinpoint precision on small components.
Capacity Limits with MAP/Pro and Propane
With MAP/Pro the tip handles silver braze up to 1/2 in and soft solder up to 1 1/2 in. On propane it covers silver braze to 1/2 in and soft solder to 1 in. Beyond those diameters the flame lacks the thermal mass to maintain joint temperature, so a larger tip or multi-flame head becomes necessary.
