An inductive PNP sensor with a 10 mm switching distance, M30×1.5 threaded barrel, and PA12-GF30 housing rated to 100 °C
The Turck BI10-S30-AP6X/S100 is a flush-mount inductive proximity sensor with a threaded M30 × 1.5 barrel. It delivers a 10 mm rated switching distance and a PNP normally-open output. The housing uses PA12-GF30 plastic rated for temperatures up to 100 °C. Supplied in a single pack weighing 146 g.
This sensor suits automation tasks that require a non-contact metal detector with a PNP output and cable connection. It is not for applications needing an NPN output, a complementary NO/NC function, or a connectorised interface. Buyers who want a higher switching distance or a metal housing should look at other models.
The 10 mm sensing range is the key figure that determines whether this sensor reaches the target in your fixture. Verify the required detection gap against this value before ordering. The M30 × 1.5 thread and flush-mount design fix the mechanical installation constraints.
