M30 inductive sensor for metal detection

The Turck NI30U-M30-AN6X is a non-flush threaded-barrel sensor with an M30 × 1.5 housing. It provides a rated switching distance of 30 mm with factor-1 response across all metals. The chrome-plated brass body meets IP68 protection and operates on 10–30 VDC with an NPN normally-open output.

Ideal for welding and magnetic environments

This sensor suits installations where strong magnetic fields or weld spatter would disturb standard inductive types. Its uprox®+ design reduces the metal-free mounting space required. Buyers needing a flush-mount format or a PNP output should look at other models.

30 mm switching distance on all metals

The single figure that determines fit is the 30 mm rated switching distance combined with factor-1 performance on every metal. If the application demands a longer range or a smaller threaded size, this part will not match the requirement.
