The Turck NI50U-CK40-AN6X2-H1141 is a rectangular inductive sensor designed to detect all metals at the same switching distance. It suits automation engineers who need reliable presence sensing on conveyors, robots or machine tools. The NPN normally-open output connects directly to PLC inputs. Buyers who require a PNP output or an analogue signal will need a different sensor type.

Rated switching distance 50 mm

The sensor offers a rated switching distance of 50 mm and maintains factor 1 across steel, aluminium, copper and brass, so no correction factors are needed. It operates on 10 to 30 VDC from a three-wire DC supply. The active face can be oriented in five directions, giving flexibility when mounting space is restricted. The sensing range cannot be extended beyond the rated 50 mm.

IP68 protection with magnetic-field resistance

The PBT-GF20-V0 housing meets IP68, resisting water ingress during wash-down and high-humidity environments. Built-in resistance to magnetic fields prevents false triggers near welding equipment or large motors. Auto-compensation guards against pre-attenuation when metal chips accumulate on the active face.
