Ready for Switch and Mobile Gaming

The Turtle Beach Scout Air TBS-5012-02 are true wireless earbuds built for Nintendo Switch and Bluetooth 5.1 devices. They suit players who want a cable-free experience on the handheld console or a paired phone. Buyers who need a wired headset for legacy controllers or simultaneous multi-device audio should look elsewhere.

Bluetooth 5.1 Range and Battery Limits

Bluetooth 5.1 handles the wireless link to Switch, Windows 10 PCs, Mac and mobile devices. The buds hold five hours of charge and the case adds 15 hours for 20 hours total playback. A 15-minute case charge restores five hours of bud life. Users who need all-day sessions without case access will hit the five-hour per-charge ceiling.

IPX4 Build and Touch Controls

An IPX4 rating protects the earbuds against sweat and splashes during workouts or outdoor play. Touch panels on each bud manage playback, calls and voice assistants without reaching for the device. Three silicone tip sizes let you seal the fit for comfort and isolation. The dual-microphone array picks up chat in supported games and calls, though wind noise may still reach the mics in open air.
