The TP-DCDC-4848GD-HP accepts a wide 36 to 72 VDC input and delivers regulated 56 VDC PoE+ output up to 35 W. It is built for installers powering wireless access points, IP phones or security cameras from 12 V, 24 V or 48 V battery banks. Dual power inputs allow connection of two sources for redundancy in vehicle or remote-site deployments.

Replaces separate DC-DC converter and PoE inserter

A single unit now handles both voltage conversion and 802.3 at-compliant insertion on the data line. The upgrade is worthwhile when existing gear requires 48 VDC PoE but only 12 V, 24 V or 48 V nominal battery voltage is available. Integrated short-circuit, over-current and reverse-voltage protection removes the need for external protection modules.

35 W headroom for Gigabit PoE+ devices

The injector supplies up to 35 W on pins 4, 5 (V+) and 7, 8 (V-) while passing 10/100/1000 Mbps data through shielded RJ45 jacks.
