Eight-port 10/100 PoE switch delivering up to 35 watts per port with dual 46–57 V DC inputs for redundant power
The Tycon Power TP-SW8-D delivers eight Fast Ethernet ports with Power over Ethernet for cameras, access points and other remote devices. Each port supplies up to 35 watts under the 802.3af standard, and the unit accepts 46 V to 57 V DC from primary and secondary sources. Rail-mount format suits equipment cabinets and industrial enclosures.
Every port can provide 35 W, giving comfortable headroom for most 802.3af-class endpoints such as VoIP phones and basic IP cameras. Devices requiring 802.3at Class 4 power above 35 W will exceed the per-port budget, and the 10/100 link caps throughput at 100 Mbps for bandwidth-heavy loads. The 100 m distance limit applies to standard copper cabling.
Two power terminals let installers connect a primary and a backup 46–57 V source, so a single supply failure does not drop connected devices. Power is injected on pins 4,5 and 7,8, leaving data pairs untouched. No management software or uplink ports are included, so the switch operates as a transparent, unmanaged segment.

The switch runs at 10/100 Mbps, so any device connected to it will negotiate at that speed; your Gigabit uplink will simply step down for those links.
Check the port-status LEDs — a solid PoE indicator means the switch has detected an 802.3af/at device and is supplying power on pins 4,5 and 7,8.
The unit ships without a power supply; you must provide a 46 V to 57 V DC source for the dual redundant inputs.
