What it does and who it suits

The TYLT Medallion pad delivers up to 10 W to Qi-enabled phones and 7.5 W to iPhones, with 5 W for buds and other accessories. It connects through a 3.3 ft USB-C cable to a laptop, power bank or wall adapter, making it convenient for desk or bedside use. The soft-touch surface and grip ring keep devices in place while charging.

Practical limits of Qi wireless charging

Output varies by device: Samsung models receive the full 10 W, iPhones are capped at 7.5 W, and other Qi gear settles at 5 W. The pad requires a USB-C power source able to supply at least 10 V at 1 A; lower-output ports will reduce speed. Thick or metal cases may block the magnetic field, so removal is sometimes necessary.

The spec that decides fit

The single figure that determines whether this pad matches your needs is the 10 W maximum output for Samsung devices. If your phone supports faster proprietary wireless standards, this unit will not reach those speeds. For users whose gear tops out at Qi 10 W or below, the Medallion provides the rated performance.
