Gold Hanging File Basket

The U Brands 3231U0206 is a gold-finished metal wire basket designed to hold letter-size hanging file folders. Its bent-wire construction suits both traditional offices and home workspaces. The unit can be placed on a desktop or mounted to a wall for flexible organisation.

Desktop or Wall Mountable Placement

The open wire frame allows air to circulate around documents and prevents dust build-up on surfaces. No moving parts or power are required so the basket adds no noise or heat to the environment. Its lightweight metal design makes repositioning simple without tools.

Replacing Cluttered File Stacks

This basket replaces loose piles of paperwork or single-tray sorters that leave folders exposed. The upgrade is worth it when you need visible, upright storage for active projects and want to reclaim desk space. It does not suit buyers who need lockable drawers or multi-tier cabinet systems.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the 3231U0206 basket on a wall and what step is often missed?

Use the rear keyhole slots with screws anchored into studs or drywall plugs; the step often missed is pre-drilling level holes 12.4 inches apart so the basket hangs straight.

What part of the 3231U0206 will need attention after extended use?

The gold finish on the bent-wire frame can show scratches or tarnish; wipe with a soft dry cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners to keep the colour intact.

At what load does the 6.8 by 9.5 by 12.4 inch basket start to sag?

The wire frame is rated for letter-size hanging folders; overloading beyond a full drawer of paper causes the bottom wires to bow noticeably.
