Survival horror VR roguelike

The Persistence is a PlayStation 4 video game published by U&I Entertainment under model 812303014673. It blends sci-fi stealth, horror and roguelike mechanics in a first-person VR experience. The ESRB rates it M for Mature, reflecting intense violence and horror themes. Players assume the role of a security officer fighting to survive a mutant-infested colony ship.

Upgrade from flat-screen horror games

This title replaces standard horror games that lack VR immersion and procedural replayability. The jump is worth it when you own a PlayStation VR headset and want permadeath tension combined with clone-based progression. Without VR hardware the core experience cannot be accessed, so the upgrade only applies to VR-ready owners.

Fits a PS4 VR library

The game requires a PlayStation 4 console and a PlayStation VR headset with camera and motion controllers. It frees you from linear level design by generating new deck layouts each run. No additional peripherals or subscriptions are needed beyond the base VR setup.
